Seven time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher has suffered a 'serious' head injury following a skiing accident in France this morning.
The German was skiing alone when he suffered a fall and struck his head on a rock. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and remained conscious throughout.

Michael Schumacher is in a critical condition and in a medically induced coma following surgery after his accident this morning. A press conference has been scheduled for 11AM local time tomorrow.
