Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was lucky in the final
Free Practice session before this afternoon’s qualifying for the Monaco Grand
Prix after the Finn hit the barrier hard on coming out of T1 following a
puncture.
It has now emerged that the damage to his car was just to
the rim on Raikkonen’s rear wheel. Raikkonen will therefore receive no penalty
for a potential gearbox penalty.
