Hollywood legend Robert De Niro has been cast to play
Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari in a new biographical film about one of the motor
industries most famous and iconic names.
The film simply title ‘Ferrari’ will span the history of
Ferrari from 1946 – 1980’s. Ferrari (the founder of the Scuderia Ferrari
Formula One team) passed away in 1988 aged 90.
It is believed that Clint Eastwood is being lined up to
direct the new film that will reportedly be filmed mainly in Italy. It is
unclear whether the film will be made in Italian or English or a mixture of the
two.
De Niro also went on to say that the new project will take
precedent over all of his other projects.
