Williams Martini Racing Deputy Team Principal Claire
Williams has stated that her outfit were in favour of the Manor F1 Team
returning to Formula One with a 2014 chassis.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ Williams said that her team
were still working hard to ensure that the Banbury based outfit will return to
Formula One. The Grove based outfit wanted ‘a full, competitive line up on the grid
next year.’
Williams revealed that they would have accepted the proposal
for Manor to use their 2014 chassis if it meant saving the team.
