Scuderia Toro Rosso Team Principal Franz Tost believes that
his new driver Max Verstappen has proved all of his doubters wrong following
his performances in the opening two Grand Prix of the 2015 season.
The Dutch teenager became the youngest ever Formula One point’s
scorer when he finished the Malaysian Grand Prix in seventh place.
Tost believes that Verstappen has proven those who thought
he was too young for F1 wrong. The Dutch driver was classified in 13th
place despite the fact he was forced to retire from the race. In Malaysia he
qualified in sixth place.
Speaking about his drivers, Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz,
Tost said that they just get on with the job and it is as if they are not
Formula One rookies. The pair are on six points apiece and Scuderia Toro Rosso
find themselves in 5th place in the Constructors championship, just
one point ahead of the senior team Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
