McLaren Mercedes have become the first team to unveil their 2014 car, the MP4 29 after presenting their new car to the media at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking this morning.

The team's two drivers Jenson Button and new signing Kevin Magnussen were on hand to take the wraps off the new car. For the first time since 2007, their new car does not feature the Vodafone logo after the Telecommunications giant ended its long term sponsorship deal with the team at the end of last season.

The team have yet to confirm who will be their new title sponsor for 2014 so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Speaking about 2014 Jenson Button said that following a difficult season last year it would be good for change in 2014 which is a strong indication that Martin Whitmarsh will be replaced as team principal ahead of the start of the new season. Whitmarsh was not in attendance at the the launch.

There is speculation in the F1 paddock today that Eric Boullier will replace Whitmarsh at McLaren after it t was confirmed this morning that the Frenchman has left the Lotus F1 Team.
