The Williams F1 Team have confirmed that Pastor Maldonado's former race engineer Andrew Murdoch will be Felipe Massa's race engineer for the 2014 season. The team also announced that Jonathan Eddolls will remain as Valtteri Bottas' race engineer.
The news means that the future of Massa's former Ferrari race engineer Rob Smedley is unclear as it had been expected that the Englishman would follow Massa to the Williams team.
There is still the possibility that Smedley could be announced in a senior engineering role at Williams but we'll have to wait and see what happens. I am sure we will find out in the coming day's and week's what Rob Smedley's plans are as Winter testing gets underway on Tuesday in Jerez.
