Schumacher investigation 'progressing' well

French prosecutors have confirmed that the investigation into Michael Schumacher's accident is 'progressing well'.

The prosecution team also confirmed that speed was not a factor in Michael Schumacher accident. Michael was using a set of brand new rented skis when he had the accident. Prosectors have examined  the Go-pro helmet camera that Michael Schumacher was wearing at the time of the incident.

The footage provided 'perfect clarity' for prosecutors who have said that they have reconstructed Schumacher's accident.

The investigation has so far found that the slopes where Schumacher was skiing were marked correctly.  According to the initial finding's from the investigation, it would appear that one of Schumacher's skis struck a rock eight metres off piste.

The prosecutor also confirmed that investigators have spoken to the emergency team who attended the scene, they have also spoken to the medical team treating Schumacher. The investion team have also visited the site of the accident for themselves.

The French team investigate roughly 50 incident's a year that relate to either skiing or climbing accients so they are certainly used to this sort of investigation.
