Smirnoff team up with Force India

Following the announcement at the start of the 2014 Formula One season that the Williams Team had signed a title sponsorship agreement with Martini, today it was Force India's turn as the Silverstone based outfit confirmed and major partnership with Smirnoff which will see the vodka brand's logo appear on the VJM07 from next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

Smirnoff is one of North America's best selling vodka brands and traces its roots back to Russia in the 19th Century.

As part of the new agreement, Smirnoff will use its agreement with Sahara Force India to enhance its responsible drinking programme they are also going to deliver a power anti drink driving message.

As well as appearing the side-pod's of the VJM07 at key race's, the Smirnoff logo will also appear on rear wing at the top of the chassis. The Smirnoff logo will also appear on Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez's helmets and on all team clothing.

Speaking about the deal, Sahara Force India team principal and managing director Dr Vijay Mallya said:

Smirnoff's Global Brand Director Matt Bruhn said:
