The Marussia F1 Team have confirmed that Jules Bianchi will have a new race engineer for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Francesco Nenci joins the Banbury based outfit from the Sauber F1 Team and replaces Paul Davison who has been promoted to the position of Head of Vehicle Performance. Davison joined Marussia in 2012 when he worked alongside Charles Pic.
A statement from Marussia confirmed that the pair will work together as part of a 'hand over phase' at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, the opening race of the European season before Davison takes up his new role within the squad. Davison's new role within the team is primarily a factory based position.
Bianchi is looking forward to the familiar surroundings of the Circuit de Catalunya. The Frenchman revealed that although it was nice to have the three week break he is looking forward to the next phase of the season.
The Marussia F1 Team are currently 10th in the Constructors championship just ahead of the Caterham F1 Team.
