New partner for Infiniti Red Bull Racing

Reigning world champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing announced today (Wednesday) that they have secured a partnership with SCOTT Sports who are a leading manufacturer of high end cycling, running, moto and winter sports products.

The company will supply Red Bulling Racing with a range of products for the pit-crew such as lightweight SCOTT Picton full face helmets and SCOTT LCG goggles. SCOTT's vice president Pascal Ducrot commented on the new deal:

'Racing is in our blood, no matter if moto or muscle power. We share the same passion, that's why we are super excited to team up with Infiniti Red Bull Racing and are proud to supply the most innovative F1 team with our products.'

Along with the products for the pit-crew, SCOTT will also also provide the team will cycling and running equipment that the team will be able use. SCOTT will also provide the team with Foil team issue bikes that will allow Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo along with engineering personnel from the Milton Keynes based outfit to lap Formula One circuits around the world on two wheels.

Speaking about the new partnership Infiniti Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner said:

'The new partnership with SCOTT is a great fit for the team. SCOTT has worked hard to create a bespoke pit crew helmet solution which will be a good step forward for us, both in terms of safety and performance. This is another example of Infiniti Red Bull Racing seeking expertise from a class-leading supplier to help us improve our operation.'
