Potential Caterham buyer ready to take control of the team in the next month

Caterham F1 Team administrator Finbarr O'Connell has confirmed that he is talks with one potential buyer for the Leafield based outfit who has the ability to take full control of the team within the next month.

Mr O'Connell is currently in Abu Dhabi for talks with potential buyers for the team and oversaw the operation of the outfit as acting team principal at last weekend's season finale Abu Dhabi Grand Prix where Will Stevens finished his first ever Formula One race in 17th place and was involved with a great battle with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

Mr O'Connell also oversaw the successful crowd funding project which allowed the team to compete at the season final in Abu Dhabi after missing the the previous two Grand Prix in the United States and Brazil. 

Speaking at the FIA team principal press conference in Abu Dhabi on Friday when asked what any potential buyer would receive for purchasing the team Mr O'Connell confirmed that a buyer would receive everything from chassis', equipment, the team's transportation fleet and of course the factory in Leafield.
