Sahara Force India continue partnership with America Movil into 2015

It has been an extremely busy day for the Sahara Force India Formula One team both on and off the track. The Silverstone based outfit will start Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with Sergio Perez starting the race from 13th place while Nico Hulkenberg will start the race from 14th place. 

Following the news that Sergio Perez has signed a 'multi-year contract extension with the outfit it was also confirmed that team partner America Movil have also extended their partnership with the Silverstone based outfit into 2015, The news means that Telmex, Claro and Telcel branding will appear on the bodywork of the 2015 VJM08.

Speaking about the announcement Sahara Force India team principal and managing director Dr Vijay Mallya stated:

'Our partnership with America Movil has proved to be very successful and together we have celebrated some special results. With Formula One returning to Mexico in 2015, our association will take on greater significance as we embrace the country’s huge passion for the sport. 

It’s also fitting that we will launch our 2015 season in Mexico City and I wish to thank Telmex, Telcel and Claro for their support in making this event possible.'

Chairman of the board of directors at America Movil Carlos Slim stated:

'We are glad to renew our relationship with Sahara Force India. It has been a great experience for everyone at America Movil to see the team celebrate its most successful season ever with Checo Perez being a big part of it. 

I know the team and Checo have even bigger ambitions for 2015 and with the return of Mexico to the calendar a great interest in the team, and the sport as a whole, through the country will come. Everyone at America Movil is proud to be a part of that project.'
