Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene has stated that
he believes that his outfit have ‘the perfect combination’ in their
driver pairing of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
The four time world champion made his highly publicized move
to Maranello replacing Fernando Alonso over the winter and immediately
impressed the management team with his attention to detail.
Arrivabene stated that Raikkonen and Vettel have two
different characters he said Raikkonen is very serious and doesn’t like to talk
about stupid things. He commented that the Finn will stop talking after a while
and give you a hand with the car.
He is a great guy and a good driver Arrivabene went on to explain.
Vettel on the other hand is very professional and takes notes about everything
and then talks through those notes with his engineers.
Ahead of the first race
on 2015 Formula One season Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel topped the time
sheets in the opening winter test in Jerez while in Barcelona the teams
combined times put them third fastest behind the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team
and the Williams Martini Racing Team.
As for where they expect the team to be in the opening race
of the season neither Raikkonen nor Vettel were will to make any predictions
but from what has been witnessed so far it would appear that the team have
produced a somewhat improved car compared to last season.
