(Williams Martini Racing Team)
The Williams Martini Racing Team have confirmed that they
have reached a multi year agreement with telecommunications giant BT which sees
the British firm become a strategic technology partner to the Grove based
outfit.
The news comes just over a week before the start of the new
Formula One season and is the latest in a long list of new sponsorship deals
for the Williams team who ended last season in third place in the championship
ahead of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team.
The new agreement will see the Williams Martini Racing Team
use BT’s high performance networks globally from this season while BT will also
work closely with Williams Advanced Engineering.
The new deal will see the BT logo appear on the head rest of
the FW37 and it will also see their logo appear in the garage.
