Williams Martini Racing, reigning world champions the
Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari, McLaren-Honda and Infiniti
Racing have all confirmed that they will attend this year’s Goodwood Festival
of Speed.
The event which is one of the highlights of the motorsport
calendar takes place from June 25 – 28. Last year the Festival of Speed was
attended by Mercedes Executive Director (Business) Toto Wolff, Williams test
driver Susie Wolff, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton while Kimi Raikkonen
made his very first appearance at the Festival and took part in the legendary
hill climb.
Among other motorsport personalities to have been confirmed
for the Festival is Moto GP legend Valentino Rossi who took at last weekend’s
Qatar race.
Last year the event was attended by Indy 500 winner and
IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti along with Sir Stirling Moss and Sir
Jackie Stewart.
