Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel has admitted that team mate Daniel Ricciardo is faster than him at this stage in the 2014. Vettel, speaking to the media after out-qualified by his Australian team mate for the third time in four race's said:

'Daniel is doing a very good job. He has not had one good weekend, he has had good weekends since the start. He has been able to get the maximum out of the car, and on my side, maybe I am struggling a bit more.'

Vettel's comments come as he qualified in third place just behind Ricciardo. The German was out-performed by Ricciardo last time out in Bahrain where he caught and overtook Vettel after the four time world champion was told over the radio by the team that Ricciardo was faster then him. Red Bull's appeal into Daniel Ricciardo's disqualification from the Australian Grand Prix failed earlier this week so the Australian is hopeful that tomorrow he will be able to secure his first Red Bull podium.

Following four year's of winning the championship and beating Mark Webber, his former Red Bull team mate Sebastian Vettel finds himself struggling to get to trips with the new formula for 2014 and believes that the cars are so different this year that they cannot be compared to year's cars. The German is currently 6th in the Driver's championship, 38 point's behind championship leader Mercedes Nico Rosberg.

Daniel Ricciardo is currently in 10th place on 12 point's just eleven behind Vettel and with the Grand Prix set to be dry tomorrow he has a great chance to secure a podium finish.
