Fernando Alonso is proud and honoured to be part of the
McLaren Honda project and is excited about the new partnership with Honda
having grown up watching the old partnership during the 1980’s.
Everyone is hungry to get working and he is looking forward
to jumping into the car to learn new things with the car and to be ready with
solutions to any problems that may arise. He feels that it is going to be very
interesting working with Jenson Button and he is not just a great driver but a
great person.
The Spaniard feels the first day in Jerez will be very
emotional but he is very proud to be the first driver to test the new MP4-30 on
the opening day.
