Infiniti Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner expects reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel to challenge his team mate Daniel Ricciardo in the final six race's of the 2014 season as the reigning world champions aim to end what has been by their standards a difficult season in the strongest way possible.

Daniel Ricciardo has taken three victories so far this season however Vettel has yet to lead a single Grand Prix this season but Horner feels that Vettel will be able to take the fight to Ricciardo who is 60 points ahead of the German in the championship as the sport heads to circuits where Vettel took dominant victories last season.

Vettel took victory in all of the remaining race's on the calendar last season which if he was to repeat that feat again this season it is unlikely that he would take hid fifth consecutive world championship as he is currently 132 points behind championship leader Nico Rosberg.

The only way that Vettel could win the championship is if he wins all the remaining race's of the season with neither Mercedes driver finishing any of the last six Grand Prix which is extremely unlikely to happen.

Horner believes that the characteristics of the RB10 will suit the nature of the of the Marina Bay circuit in Singapore better then the fast and sweeping nature of the previous two rounds of the championship in Belgium and Italy in these two Grand Prix Infiniti Red Bull Racing scored 53 points compared to 61 scored by championship leaders Mercedes AMG F1 Team.

Over the course of the European leg of the season Infiniti Red Bull Racing have scored 215 points compared to 282 scored by the Mercedes AMG F1 Team.
