Red Bull motorsport adviser Dr Helmut Marko is adamant that there is no swap deal in place between Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Ferrari for Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. Vettel has had a difficult season in 2014 and is currently in 6th place in the  driver's championship 60 points behind team mate Daniel Ricciardo.

Speaking to German's Sports Bild, Dr Marko stated:

'Alonso will not be at Red Bull.'

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel also stated that he will be Infiniti Red Bull Racing next season, saying:

'There is nothing new. I have a contract with Red Bull and I'm happy where I am.'

Akonso has a contract in place with Ferrari until the end of 2016 while Sebastian Vettel's current deal with Infiniti Red Bull Racing is a long term one.

Meanwhile speaking about the championship situation at the moment with six race's to go, Dr Marko reiterated team boss Christian Horner's assertion that the pair are free to race each other and that if Sebastian is in a position to win a race and has Daniel behind him the German will be allowed to take the win despite being 60 points behind the Australian in the championship.
