(Skysports.com)

The Haas Formula One Team will most likely have a facility in the United Kingdom as that is where the majority of their rivals are based according to team founder Gene Haas. The American announced last week that his new team that will make their Formula One debut in 2016 will be powered by engine supply from Ferrari.

The Italian company are based in Italy as are the Dallara chassis company whom Haas will utilize to help them build their 2016 F1 car.

Gene Haas has also confirmed in an interview with NBCSN in America that his team intend to 'buy or rent' anything it can in order to build his Formula One cars. It is expected that along with the Ferrari power unit Haas will also be provided with a gearbox from the Prancing Horse however for now their multi-year agreement is for the power unit only.

Haas also revealed that he could have gone racing in Formula One from next season however he has said that the extra year will enable the team to put the operation together and this will mean that the team will be better prepared for their debut.

It is not yet known who will drive for the team however Alexander Rossi has held preliminary talks with the outfit over a potential drive with the team which makes sense as the American has experience of driving the current generation of Formula One car.
