Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen believes that his team will be able to challenge Mercedes once again at this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix following Sebastian Vettel’s victory last time out in Malaysia.

The German who qualified on the front row in Malaysia and took victory by over 8 seconds. Raikkonen had a fantastic race coming through the field following troubled start to the race to finish the event in fourth place having shown over the course of the weekend that the Maranello based outfit have an extremely competitive package in the SF15-T.

Raikkonen knows that despite Vettel’s win the team still have room to improve and knows that one area that they need to improve is in qualifying.

Ferrari go into this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix in second place in the championship on 52 points, 24 behind the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
