Frustrated Maldonado feels victimized

(Lotus F1 Team)

The Lotus F1 Team’s Pastor Maldonado believes that he has been a victim in the opening two Grand Prix of the season in Australia and Malaysia.

In Australia, the Venezuelan was involved in a first corner incident which saw him spin his E23 Hybrid which suffered severe damage which resulted in a retirement from the race. In Malaysia the Lotus driver received a puncture following contact with the Williams Martini Racing Team’s Valtteri Bottas.

He feels that he has yet to unlock the full potential of the new Mercedes power unit.
The Enstone outfit have yet to score points this season with Romain Grosjean coming close in Malaysia last weekend.

Maldonado believes however that the team will get some good results throughout the season as the team have produced an extremely strong package.
