Generally I think we can be quiet strong everywhere

Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen believes that the team can be strong everywhere this season as they showed in winter testing that they have a competitive package in the SF15-T.

The Maranello based outfit head into this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel having taken victory last time out at the Malaysian Grand Prix and while the Iceman feels that the win was good for the team on his side of the garage he is hopeful that the car will perform as usual as it has shown that it is competitive in all conditions so far and the Finn does not foresee any surprises.

When it comes to challenging Mercedes for the victory this weekend where the conditions are expected to be a lot cooler, Raikkonen believes that compared to where they were last the team things have changed a lot although he feels that there is still work to do.

Last time out in Malaysia, Raikkonen endured a difficult race after qualifying in eleventh place and suffering a puncture at the start of the second lap however he recovered extremely well and ended the race in fourth place behind the two Mercedes and his Ferrari team mate Sebastian Vettel.

The pair have shown that the new chassis is extremely strong and in Raikkonen’s case the new chassis suits his driving style better compared to last season and he seems to be more comfortable both in and outside the car.

Raikkonen goes into the Chinese Grand Prix in fifth place in the championship on 12 points and he will be hoping to add to that points tally on Sunday.
