Hamilton no longer trusts Rosberg

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Lewis Hamilton has stated that he no longer trusts team mate and championship leader Nico Rosberg following the pairs clash during the Belgian Grand Prix last time out which resulted in Hamilton retiring from the race and as a result he is now 29 points behind the German with seven Grand Prix remaining this season.

Hamilton has also stated that he no longer trusts any Formula One driver. Hamilton also questioned the FIA's decision not to punish Rosberg following their clash which was deemed by the ace stewards as a racing incident.

Speaking at Thursday's FIA driver press conference at the Monza circuit Hamilton commented about the FIA by saying:

'I think the FIA have a really tough job and, particularly over the last couple of years, they have done an exceptional job on the majority of the calls, Their problem is that the scenario is always different so the same rule doesn't always apply exactly. Sometimes it is difficult to say which rules apply to what situation. It is a good question. How do we move forward from that?

Despite their clash Rosberg and Hamilton have been ensured that they remain free to race until the end of the season however that the team would have to assess the situation if they were to clash again this season.

Hamilton and Rosberg appeared in public together for the first time since the incident at today's driver press conference and had Ferrari's Fernando Alonso sitting between the pair and when asked by the floor if he would play peace keeper Alonso said that he would not.
