McLaren Mercedes Jenson Button has stated that has no worries about where he will be next season as he fully expects to be retained by the McLaren F1 Team. The 2009 world champion is out of contract with the Woking based outfit at the end of the season and the team are yet to confirm their driver plans for next season.

McLaren will make the switch from Mercedes to a supply of Honda power units from next season as the Japanese manufacturer returns to Formula One for the time since selling their 'works team' to Ross Brawn at the end of the 2008 season.

Button was the last driver to race in Formula One with Honda power as he drove for the team in 2008 before winning the title with Brawn Grand Prix in 2009 before moving to McLaren in 2010 where he has been every since. During his time at McLaren Button has won many Grand Prix and secured a number of podium finishes.

Button finished the opening race of this season, the Australian Grand Prix in Albert Park Melbourne in third place just behind new team mate Kevin Magnussen.
