It's official Massa and Bottas retained at Williams Martini Racing for 2015

The Williams Martini Racing Team have confirmed that they will retain both Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa next season. Massa has a contract in place with the Grove based outfit for the next two years while Bottas' contract was renewed. Bottas said recently said that he saw no reason to leave the team despite offers from other teams.

The Williams Martini Racing team are having their best season in recent years and are currently in fourth place in the championship just ten points behind Ferrari. 

Valtteri Bottas will start today's Italian Grand Prix from third place on the grid while Felipe Massa will start the race from 4th place. Sir Frank Williams commented on the news that the team now have excellent stability heading into the 2015 season.

Williams hope that the team can get the maximum  performance from the FW36 over the remaining seven Grand Prix starting at today's Italian Grand Prix. 

Speaking about the announcement Valtteri Bottas commented:

'I've been a member of the Williams team for five years now and we have developed together throughout that time which is a great feeling.'

The Finn has secured four podium finishes and is currently in fifth place in the Drivers championship just eleven points behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

Felipe Massa is still searching for his first podium finish as a Williams Martini Racing driver and is currently in 9th place on 40 points just one point ahead of former Ferrari team mate Kimi Raikkonen.
