Wolff doesn't care about the relationship between drivers as long as it doesn't interfere with their performances on track

Mercedes AMG F1 Team Executive Director of Business Toto Wolff has stated that he does not care whether or not his driver's get on with each other as long it does not get in the way of their on track performances again following their racing incident at the Belgian Grand Prix two weeks ago. Wolff made his comments after seeing his team take their seventh 1-2 finish of the season as Lewis Hamilton lead home Nico Rosberg at the Italian Grand Prix.

After the Belgian Grand Prix Wolff described what happened as unacceptable and does not see a repeat of that incident happening.

In Singapore last season Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton finished the race in 4th and 5th place respectively for the Silver Arrows however the team are yet to take victory at that event however at the Bahrain night race earlier this season the team finished 1-2 with Lewis Hamilton taking victory by one second after a fierce battle with Nico Rosberg.

At this moment in time with six Grand Prix to go this season Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton remain free to race until such time that it is impossible for one of them to win the championship,

This is unlikely as the gap between the two drivers is just 22 points and as far as the team is concerned their main objective is to win the Constructors championship as for them that is where the money comes from.

The Brackley based outfit have gone from strength to strength since returning to Formula One as a 'works' Constructor in 2010.
