McLaren Mercedes Racing Director Eric Boullier has heaped praise on both Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen for the way in which the pair have handled the difficulties of the MP4-29 so far this season. The Woking based outfit currently see themselves in 6th place in the Constructors championship one point behind the Sahara Force India Formula One Team.

Boullier believes that both Button and Magnussen have driven some 'inspired races' McLaren started the season in fantastic fashion as Kevin Magnussen finished in second place while Jenson Button finished in third place at the season opener Down Under in Melbourne Australia. Since that race however the team have struggled to compete with Mercedes and Red Bull.

Due to high speed nature of the next two Grand Prix in Spa Francorchamps and the Italian Grand Prix in Monza means that teams run a specific down-force set-up and Boullier believes that a more conventional set-up for the Singapore will give the team a better gauge on where they are in relation to their rivals.

McLaren had a disappointing Hungarian Grand Prix but the team are looking forward to getting back to work and heading to the Belgian Grand Prix where Jenson Button has a great record with the team having taken victory there in 2012 and took a third place finish for the team in 2011.

The team will be hoping to get their season back on track this weekend with Kevin Magnussen making his first Formula One appearance at the legendary Spa Francorchamps circuit.
