'Unacceptable'

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Mercedes AMG F1 Team's Executive Director of Business Toto Wolff has described as 'unacceptable' the second lap incident between his two driver's Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton which saw Hamilton suffer a puncture which sent the 2008 world champion to the back of the pack and was forced to retire from the race.

Nico Rosberg on the other hand went on to finish the race on the podium in second place behind race winner Daniel Ricciardo to extend his championship lead over Lewis Hamilton to 29 point's as Formula One heads to the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, the final race of the European season.

As a result of the incident the team lost out on a certain victory for the team.
