Slap on the wrist may not be enough

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Mercedes Executive Director of Business Toto Wolff has stated that Nico Rosberg may receive something more than just a slap on the wrist following the racing incident in yesterday's Belgian Grand Prix which arguably cost the team victory.

As it is now a matter that will be dealt with by the team internally Wolff refused to comment on what the team would do in relation to the current situation the team finds themselves in.

In a separate development relating to the team Lewis Hamilton has now stated that he will find it tough to trust Rosberg from now on when it comes to the pair racing wheel to wheel. Hamilton believes that the blame for the incident lays squarely at Rosberg's door as do the Mercedes management however Rosberg was blaming Hamilton for the incident.

Hamilton has stated that it couldn't have been his fault as he was the one who was out in front at the time of the incident. The 2008 world champion has admitted that he does not now know how he will approach the next race at the Italian Grand Prix but will be going out of his way to avoid a wheel to wheel situation with Rosberg.
