Rosberg not interested in airing his views on Spa incident

Mercedes AMG F1 Team's Nico Rosberg has released the following video message to dispute Lewis Hamilton's version of what happened in yesterday's Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa Francorchamps circuit. Rosberg started the race from pole position but was overtaken by team mate Lewis Hamilton on the first lap of the race.

The German has also stated that would prefer to his opinion to himself and wants to move on from the incident and concentrate on getting the maximum result from the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit. 

Rosberg stated that they need to move on from the incident following discussions with the team at the debrief and he has said that the team will have another meeting to discuss where the team go from here and whether or not they need to change their approach to Grand Prix events.

It had been reported following the race on Sunday that Hamilton and Rosberg have not spoken to one another in the team environment in over a month.

This incident in Spa was not not the first time that the pair had raced wheel to wheel with Bahrain and Monaco two examples of the pair pushing each other however Spa was the first time that there had been contact between the two drivers.
