F1 needs more exciting Grand Prix like German and Hungary

(Florent Gooden DPPI for Renault Sport F1)

Formula One is about the drivers and not the teams and the politics and when that comes across is when the sport is at its best. That is the view of Infiniti Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner. The sport experienced an extremely exciting battles throughout the field such as Kimi Raikkonen's great battle with reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel while team mate Daniel Ricciardo secured his second victory of the season.

The sport also saw Lewis Hamilton make his way through the field for the second race in a row to finish on the podium after starting the race from 20th in Germany while in Hungary the 2008 world champion started the race from the pit-lane.

It was recently revealed that a series of meeting will take place on how to improve the show over the coming weeks. Horner feels that the drivers are the heroes of the show and that this needs to be acknowledged.

Horner felt that in Hungary fans saw the sport at its best and that's the way it needs to stay.
