The Lotus F1 Team have confirmed that they trial a new a front nose on the E22 next time out at the US Grand Prix in Austin Texas as they look for a way to improve their on track performance. The Enstone outfit have struggled for performance this season having scored just eight points in 2014.
Speaking to Autosport, Lotus F1 Team technical director Nick Chester stated:
'The rules are pushing everybody in that direction, so I think pretty much everybody will be looking at a fairly low and narrow nose [for next season].'
The team have yet to decide which one of their drivers will trial the new nose during free practice at the Circuit of the Americas.
