Alonso tops final practice for Ferrari in Singapore

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso set the fastest time of the final practice session ahead of this afternoon's qualifying session for tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix. The Spaniard set a time of 1m 47.299s to end the session just ahead of Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo with championship leader Nico Rosberg was 0.189in 6th for s behind the Ferrari.

Toro Rosso's Jean Eric Vergne was surprise of the session as the Frenchman finished the session in fourth place 0.394s behind Alonso. Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel finished the session in 5th place 0.412s behind Alonso. Lewis Hamilton had a difficult session and finished 6th place for the Mercedes AMG F1 Team.

Following a frustrating Friday it was a much better Saturday morning for the Williams Martini Racing Team as Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas finished the session in 7th and 8th place respectively. 

Kimi Raikkonen ended the session in 9th place while the Sauber F1 Team's Esteban Gutierrez put in a fantastic run for the Swiss based outfit as the Mexican rounded out the top ten in his C33. Nico Hulkenberg was eleventh fastest for the Sahara Force India Formula One team just ahead of the McLaren duo of Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button.

Daniil Kvyat was 14th fastest in the second Toro Rosso while Sergio Perez was 15th in the second Sahara Force India VJM07. 

Adrian Sutil was 16th fastest in the second Sauber C33 finishing the session just ahead of the Lotus F1 Team duo of Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado who had a front right brake problem during the session in his new chassis following his heavy crash in Free Practice 2 yesterday.

The Marussia F1 Team's Jules Bianchi was the fastest of the 'new teams' as he finished the session in 19th place just ahead of the Caterham F1 Team's Kamui Kobayashi in 20th. Max Chilton was 21st just ahead of Marcus Ericsson in the second Caterham.
