Ferrari's Director of Engineering Pat Fry has admitted that the team have been forced to re-evaluate their goals for this season following the Italian outfits disappointing start to the season despite replacing Felipe Massa with Kimi Raikkonen for this season.

Fry has said that the team's target is now to finish in second behind Mercedes as best of the rest as Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have dominated the opening three race's of the season for the Silver Arrows.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's race in China Fry said:

'We are looking at all areas of the car - power unit, aero, suspension. We are trying to make as big a step as we can for each and every race.

He went on to say:

'Since the Bahrain race, it's been a very busy time for us, as we examined all areas of car performance from the power unit to suspension configurations and aerodynamic improvements.

Ferrari are currently eleven point's behind second place Sahara Force India on 33 point's, so they will be hoping that they will be able to close the gap to the Mercedes powered team's in China.
