Seven time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher's manager has issued a further update on the German's condition following his skiing accident at the end of December. Speaking to Germany's Bild newspaper, Sabine Kehm said:
'I can only say again, that there are signs that give us encouragement'.
The update comes as the Formula One community setts up shop at the Sakhir circuit for Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix where race organisers have renamed turn 1, 'The Michael Schumacher corner'
Schumacher won the augural Bahrain Grand Prix in 2004. Kehm's comment comes just one week after former F1 doctor Gary Hartstein wrote on his blog that: 'as time goes on, it becomes less and less likely that Michael will emerge to any significant extent'.
Michael Schumacher is a fighter and as Kehm is close to what is happening as the family's official spokesperson her word should be taken as fact and people should not listen to what other people say about the seven time champions condition as they are speculating. No further update's are expected as always any updates will be provided by Kehm on behalf of the family.
