Vettel to meet with Todt over comments made abut the new engine sound

(Francois Flamand DPPI - Renault Sport F1)

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel will meet FIA president Jean Todt this weekend to discuss the comments that the German made about the new sound of Formula One.

According to media reports in the UK, Todt was happy that Vettel expressed his opinion however it is believed that the Frenchman was far from impressed with the bad language that Vettel used while being interviewed about the new sound of F1.

Speaking about the meeting with Todt, Vettel said:

'It's fairly normal to have a meeting after a couple of races', He went on to say:

'Mr Todt is coming here, so it makes sense to use the opportunity to talk about many things'

Vettel goes into this weekend's race in Bahrain off the back of a podium finish in Malaysia where he finished the race in third place behind the two Mercedes drivers. Vettel won this race last season, so it will be interesting to see what he and Red Bull can do on Sunday.
