The Canadian Grand Prix will remain on the Formula One calendar after race organizers agreed an new long-term contract with Bernie Ecclestone.
The new deal means that the Canadian Grand Prix will remain on the Formula One calendar for another ten years. The event is extremely popular among Canadian and European fan's a like. Canada has been a feature on the F1 calendar for many years with the exception of 2009 when the sport took a break.
The new deal means that Formula One has a long term future in North America as the it joins Austin in having a long standing deal. The sport is also set to head to New Jersey in 2015 which will mean that we will have three North American Grand Prix event's next season.
