Kimi Raikkonen was left unhappy after qualifying his F14 - T in 10th place for tomorrow's Canadian Grand Prix describing the car as 'edgy' throughout qualifying. The Finn, who celebrates his 200th Grand Prix start this weekend ended the session 0.4s behind team mate Fernando Alonso who himself had a disappointing session as the Spaniard will start the event from 7th place on the grid.

Raikkonen was unhappy with the traffic on track and was unlucky in that sense and said that had he not encountered he believes that he would only have picked up one or two position's on the grid. He said:

'It wasn't a very good lap in the end, but obviously I only had one chance, It didn't help. You know they are going to move out of the way, but they are still there so it doesn't help. I locked a wheel on one corner, but that's how it goes.'

The 2007 champion will be hoping for a better race performance tomorrow, he has struggled so far this season however he has a good record in Montreal so anything can happen. Ferrari can be happy that thee upgrades that they brought to the car this weekend seem to be working however the important performance comes in the race tomorrow.

The race for the victory is between the two Mercedes driver's unless something happens between the pair so the battle is for the third step on the podium and with a good strategy and a good start off the line Ferrari could be up there come the end of the Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso said earlier this week that the team must be careful so that they don't compromise the development of next years car by focusing on this season's car/ However, there is an extremely long way to go in the championship this season and it will just take more time for the team to get up to speed with Mercedes, Red Bull and Williams.
