There are just under week's to go until the Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the highlight#'s of the British motorsport calendar and ahead of the Festival organisers have confirmed that former Formula One turned Porsche World Endurance Championship driver Mark Webber will attend this year's event.
Webber, who raced in Formula One from 2002 - 2013 is currently competing at the Le Mans 24 Hour and will start the race from 5th place on the grid in the LMP1 category.
The Australian is competing in his first Le Mans 24 race since 1999 when he flipped his Mercedes CLR during qualifying for that year's event. Webber joins former F1 rival and current Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen along with a number of other Formula One stars at this tear's festival.
