Ferrari have strengthened Kimi Raikkonen's engineering team by bringing in David Lloyd from the test team operation in a bid to help improve the line of communication between the Finn and the team. Llyod will speak to Kimi over the radio from this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix.

Llyod will work alongside Kimi's race engineer, Antonio Spagnolo during the coming Grand Prix but it remains unclear whether the Englishman will stay in his new role in the long term. Raikkonen finished this afternoon's Free Practice two session in Canada ahead of team mate Fernando Alonso in fourth place.

Raikkonen will be hoping for a good result on Sunday as he takes part in his 200th Formula One Grand Prix. He said in the build up to this weekend's race that he wants to be competitive and is not in Formula One to make up the numbers.
