Sahara Force India's Sergio Perez has been held responsible for the last lap crash that put Williams Martini Racing's Felipe Massa in hospital for precautionary checks. The pair collided heading into turn one and the resulting impact for the duo was an incredible 27G. Massa was uninjured and even posted a picture on instagram to show that he was ok.
As a result, the Canadian Grand Prix race stewards handed Perez a five place grid penalty for the next event, the Austrian Grand Prix in two week's time.
