Sauber F1 Team principal Monisha Keltenborn has urged her outfit to up their game in the coming Grand Prix as the Swiss based outfit have struggled so far this season. Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez have failed to score any point's in the opening eight Grand Prix while last season the team finished in 7th place in the Constructors championship on 57 point's.

The Swiss outfit now find themselves in 10th place just ahead of the Caterham F1 Team after the Marussia F1 Team scored two point's at the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Sauber driver's have seven DNF's between them and Keltenborn is confident that the team will be in a position to challenge for point's in the coming Grand Prix. She said:

'It's very difficult to compare races because they're really very different in a way. "What we're seeing from the lap times is that the distance is still big to the teams ahead but it's maybe getting a bit smaller here and there.'

The team have struggled with the new brake by wire system which was introduced for this season, however Keltenborn feels that the team are now firmly moving in the right direction She went on to say that it will take a bit of time for the team to improve but that they know the area's where they need to improve the car.

Last time out at the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in 13th place for Adrian Sutil and 19th for Esteban Guiterrez who finished the race 2 lap's down.
