Hulkenberg happy with another strong points finish in Canada

(Sahara Force India Formula One Team)

Nico Hulkenberg declared himself happy with his result in Montreal last weekend after finishing the race in fifth place. The result was the German's fourth fifth place finish of the season and his ninth consecutive point's scoring finish in a row as he has secured point's in every Grand Prix this season and in the final two Grand Prix of last season.

'To come away with ten points and a fifth place is a good result. It was a busy race. I gained some positions at the end due to the crash between Sergio and Massa but lost one to Jenson [Button] when I was in a battle with [Fernando] Alonso, but we were always going to finish in the points regardless.'

Hulkenberg is now in 6th place in the Driver's championship on 57 point's just three behind reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel.

The Hulk believes that by being the only outfit to stop both their cars just once helped them to be competitive throughout the race and to run at the front and he feels that the gamble paid off and that 5th place in the race was a great reward.

Hulkenberg's team mate Sergio Perez had a fantastic race and was running right at the front until he was involved in an accident with Williams Martini Racing's Felipe Massa. The Mexican was given a five place following the race for causing the crash.

Sahara Force India are currently in fourth place on 77 point's just 10 behind Ferrari who are in third place in the Constructors championship.
