Carpenter pretty mad following crash

The medical team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have cleared Ed Carpenter to qualify for next weekend’s Indianapolis 500 after the American flipped his No.20 Carpenter Fisher Hartman Racing car during practice on Sunday morning

Speaking following the incident, Carpenter stated
‘I’m pretty mad’.


The 34 year old bounced back in qualifying as he is currently in second place in the race for pole position with a four lap average speed of 224.883mph with Target Chip Ganassi Racing Team’s Scott Dixon currently topping the charts with a four lap average of 226.760mph.
