Red Bull motorsport advisor Dr Helmut Marko has stated that Infiniti Red Bull Racing have no plans to leave Formula One and have made no contact with Audi over a new power unit partnership.

The Austrian has stated that the speculation is nonsense and that he has not spoken to Audi and the four time world champions are working extremely closely with current power unit supplier Renault to ensure that the French manufacturer provide the Milton Keynes based outfit with a competitive power unit in the future.

Infiniti Red Bull Racing have endured an extremely tough start to the 2015 season and currently find themselves in fourth place on 30 points.

However former Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber believes that Dr Helmut Marko’s comments should be taken with a pinch a salt and that Dietrich Mateschitz is the boss and that ultimately he has the final say on what the company will do and we should wait and see what the Mateschitz decides to do.
