Officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have confirmed
that any fans who attended qualifying on Saturday for next weekend’s 99th
running of the Indianapolis 500 will be able to attend today’s session as long
as they present a valid ticket stub from Saturday.
Qualifying for the legendary event at the Brickyard was
postponed on Saturday due to a massive rain storm that hit the circuit in the
afternoon and as a result only two cars managed to set a qualifying time.
The Indianapolis 500 is one of the most, if not the most
watched motorsport events in the world annually with an estimated 300,000 fans
expected to attend the event next weekend which takes place on the same day as
the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.
