This day last week I had just arrived back to my hotel in Mollet, Barcelona after what I can only describe as an absolutely wonderful day at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya where I spent the day walking up and down the pit-lane.

I spent a considerable amount of time outside the Williams Martini Racing Team’s garage where their mechanics were practicing their pit-stops ahead of Sunday’s Grand Prix. Watching the mechanics roll the car into the pit-box with mechanics all ready for action was amazing.

Teams conduct a huge amount of practice pit-stops over the course of a race weekend and it is was amazing to get the opportunity to get up so close to what the teams were doing. The Grove based outfit have a fantastic crew and they worked extremely hard. It was an absolute pleasure to watch the team practice and work.
