Forza Rossa Racing, a Romanian group led by former Romanian health minister Ion Bazac looks set to become the second new team to be granted entry onto the Formula One grid from next season although it is likely that the team will in fact enter Formula One from 2016.

The team is set to be led by former HRT and Force India team principal Colin Kolles. Mr Bazac is now involved with Ferrari importing their cars to Romania which could potentially result in the team been powered by a supply of Ferrari power units although it is also believed that Haas Formula are also in talks with Ferrari over the possibility of using Ferrari power.

Haas Formula were expected to enter Formula One from next season however it is believed that the American team will announce in the coming days that they will defer their F1 debut until 2016 giving them an extra year to get ready for F1. It is believed that Forza Rossa are looking to enter F1 next season however like Haas they are believed to be aiming to defer their entry should it be granted.

It is believed that the team have received a letter of intent from the FIA.
